Keep track of your Hero
I know we’re all sad that Heroes is no more, and that we’re reduced to watching the box set over and over and over again, wondering if we should investigate the tattoo removal cost for that full length ink of Hayden Panatierre on our back… But our favourite Heroes actors are still out there, living fulfilling lives making fabulous TV shows and even more fabulous movies!
Hayden herself was probably the one who got the biggest fame boost on he the back of Heroes; after all, she was a pretty blonde in a cheerleaders outfit. What studio boss wasn’t going to love her?She’s set to appear in a couple of big movies in the next year, including Scream 4 and, most intriguingly, as Amanda “Foxy Knoxy” Knox, the American girl convicted of murdering her British flatmate in Italy. That’s got to be quite a challenging role, so good on you Hayden for trying something new!
Bad guy Zachary Quinto (aka Sylar) has a couple of rom-coms coming out in 2011 – though one sounds way better than the other! “Girl Walks Into a Bar” sounds like quite an original, witty idea featuring ten different interlocking stories from ten different LA bars on one night. It features a pretty impressive and eclectic supporting cast, too, including Josh Hartnett, Danny DeVito and Rosario Dawson. More excitingly, Quinto is to reprise his role as Spock in the next, as yet unnamed, Star Trek prequel. Unfortunately, Heroes fans and Trekkies will both have to wait until 2012 for that film to make an appearance…
Other Heroes are keeping themselves busy with TV movies, guest appearances in sitcoms and detective series'and signing autographs at sci-fi conventions. I guess some of them will fade into obscurity, unless another channel decides to rescue the show? Hey, it happened with Futurama, one of my other top TV shows, so you never know!
