Bourne to be wild

Bourne to be wild

Many of my friends and family members always tell me that they never understood what the Bourne series was about. For them, it is just a series of action packed explosions that go on forever. However for me, Bourne is one my favorite fiction characters that gets entwined in a memory loss situation where he is out to find his identity of who he is and what he did.
This can also boost on the great performance by Matt Damon, who takes on the lead – being relatively new to the industry at that moment, he slips into the role of Bourne as if it was him himself in the heat of the situation. The direction is top notch as Doug Liman direction results in great action scenes and perfect conversion of story on paper to moving picture.
The Bourne cult movie followers consider Bourne to be the Father of Bond, not in literal sense but in the way Bourne operates keeping his head down and performing espionage mission with the extreme accuracy and speed that no Bond can come close to. The CIA is brought into the light here, as the story is based loosely on the book by Robert Ludlum’s – Bourne Identity – it touches upon some controversial stories on how the CIA operates and what methods does it use to keep its agents from telling the truth to the world – wiping memory being a part of one process just like tattoo removal cost is worth as it removes the tattoo with no traces like it ever existed.
