Another Perspective to Heroes.
Heroes is not only interesting but quite addictive as well. During undergraduate days, it was the thing for boys and it sucks when you have to be told what happened in an episode because you missed for some reason. It was not only interesting for young adults or teenagers, some kids were really into it as well. I have a little cousin who was a bit naughty and the only way you could control him was to threaten that you will not be buying him Nathan Petrelli’s power. Nathan was his favourite because he also wanted to fly and he somehow believed this power could be bought. Speaking about favourite characters became a debate when guys were discussing in class about what would happen next on the show. A couple of girls heard our discussion and it appeared that they were also addicted to Heroes.
It was when they joined the discussion that they began to talk about who the hottest guy was and their favourite stars. In a matter of time, we were all driven into their topic and it became fun. It was also interesting that you could actually take up your favourite show from another perspective. For me, Hayden’s character (Claire) was my favourite even though it sometimes appears that she needs laser hair removal. One of the girls felt Sylar was sexy but doesn’t see him as her favourites cast. The guys agreed that Ali Larter’s role as Niki Sanders was the sexiest. You can call it an obsession but it was fun to have a look at Heroes from another point of view.
